Vitamin D vs. Vitamin A

There has been much controversy over Vitamin D and Vitamin A over the last couple of months. We've been researching many articles debating the concern of over-supplementation, primarily in cod liver oil. We have personally added cod liver oil to our daily diets, but now take caution when doing so.

As you know from past posts, one of our resources we trust for dietary information is Dr. Mercola. He summarizes his view on this issue by suggesting everyone get sufficient Vitamin A from a healthy diet and Vitamin D from sunlight, no supplementation. There is a delicate balance between A and D and supplementation cannot support this ratio.
